Sikarin Career Exposure Day 2022

On 8th July 2022, fifteen (15) secondary students from Secondary 3 to Secondary 6 levels visited Sikarin Hospital. It was the last day of the series of 2022 Career exposure day. The students were greeted and welcomed by the Nurse director and her team. They were given a general orientation and brief information about each department of the hospital; physical therapy, healthcare digital integration, pharmacy, and Covid-19 experts etc.

Throughout the day, the students were given an in-depth exclusive tour of the hospital facilities in each of the departments. They visited the Emergency room and ambulance, surgical department, CT scan and MRI rooms, Pediatric department, Hospital technical laboratory, dentistry department, OPD Pharmacy, Heart department, Orthopedic department, and Physical therapy department.

The orientation and tour were engaging and inspiring. Students were able to inquire from actual practitioners in different medical fields. The information would contribute to their learning and decision in choosing their respective field of study later in university.
